The Gathering is open to AFN Members Only.
This annual meeting is a space for shared learning and analysis where members build trust and relationships, expand their connections, develop lasting partnerships, and align their investment strategies to accelerate large-scale change across Central Appalachia.
The first day of the Gathering will create spaces for connection with new and old AFN member colleagues. A mix of panel presentations, workshops, Group meetings, open space time to explore emerging interests, and training will be available. The second day of the Gathering will offer a Network-wide deep dive into research study results that assess the contribution of community assets to wellbeing indicators in Central Appalachia. On the morning of the third day, attendees will have the option to go on regional site visits to explore examples of local wrap-around services that provide support for those in re-entry or experiencing homelessness, regional food producers, and entrepreneurial arts and cultural endeavors.
