AFN Working Group Summary

The Health Working Group commissioned Ohio University to compose a summary of the resources, geographic reach, and funding priorities of three of the Appalachia Funders Network's working groups: the Food Systems Working Group, the Health Working Group, and the Strengthening Community Capacity Working Group.

A snapshot of just a portion of the Network, the study reveals that among just 39 members, the Network holds assets of nearly $5 billion, with annual giving in Appalachia of over $86 million. While this does not provide a total picture of all working groups or  all Network members, it does provide a powerful snapshot of some of the assets among the Network.
